She's Sooo Mean

This weekend, we went for our walk at First Landing State Park!
Another historic hike, First Landing State Park is near the site of the first landing on Aprile 26, 1607 of Christopher Newport and the Virginia Company colonist before estasblishing themselves at Jamestown!
This video is proof of the abuse I take from the malamute.
You will note there is at least 3 body checks delivered to my beautiful red self by the malamute.
How will I establish Sibe World Domination if the malamute keeps beating me up?

Haute Husky Couture

This design was inspired by Sebastian Schnuelle who just so happens to be one of my favorite mushers from the Yukon Quest and Iditarod.

(Don't tell my huMom that. She still has a thing for other musher.)

Haute!

Let the Bodies Hit The Floor

Lately there has been talk on SiberNut about collars and what types of collars are best for traning a husky not to pull.

So we wanted to demonstrate how we walk on leash.  But when we loaded our video up to up to You Tube and let You Tube pick the music, this is the song they recommended.

Retracing History

Mom wanted to link history and nature which lead us to hike the Greenspring Greenway Trail near Williamsburg, Virginia.
The three mile trail traces the foot steps of the Indians and the early colonists.
The trail is next to the "Mainland Farm" which is the oldest continuously cultivated farm in America!
It's 1 mile south of the first permanent English settlement ~ Jamestown. So this puts the farm well within boundaries of the first American Settlement
Here we are! Starting out on our adventure!
Kiley is checking out a noise heard somewhere off the bridge
The boardwalk runs through the wetlands so we don't get out paws muddy
We're coming up now alongside the Mainland Farm
We discover some ancient farm equipment
The cornfields remind me of our furfriends in the midwest.
Retracing the steps of the early colonists
Pocahontas is that you?
